Attain FCC Scholarship Credentials

The time has come to renew your Family Child Care (FCC) Scholarship from PSU – Oregon Center for Career Development (OCCD). You can apply online here Scholarship Application.

We can accept FCC scholarships that say You are part of the group “SUN☀️.” 

Please forward your acceptance email to Faye@zepedalearning.org so we can update your scholarship credential. Once your account credential is updated, you can register for any of our set  2 & 3 trainings.

General Use

Your credential can register for any of our set  2 & 3 trainings. Set 1 trainings are not covered by the scholarship, The good news is most of our classes are set 2 and 3. Look for the Set classification in a training info box similar to the one below.

Self Guided Trainings (Asynchronous)

Please complete the self-guided training before the FCC scholarship funds are exhausted or before the expiration date of June 30, 2025. We cannot guarantee submissions after June 15, 2025, will be completed in time to qualify for the scholarship=.

If you are working on multiple modules, please submit each one as you complete it, rather than sending them all together at once.

Oregon Child Care Workforce Recognition Payment Program

In an effort to recognize child care providers across the state of Oregon for their exceptional work, the Oregon Legislature has allocated an annual $500 payment to eligible child care providers in 2024 and 2025! The work that you do as early childhood educators keep this state afloat and we want to say thank you!

The application can be found when you log into your myORO account. Once you log in click on MyORO top left to find the application.

To be eligible, you must: 

Have a myORO (https://my.oregonregistryonline.org/accounts/login/) account.

Work for at least 90 days at 10 hours a week in the calendar year.

Currently work in a licensed Oregon child care facility or in a license exempt or recorded program receiving ERDC or as a family, friend, neighbor care receiving ERDC.
