The Family Child Care Scholarship can be used to pay for any of our set 2 or 3 training including home study modules. You can find the online application at PSU – OCCD. There are also reimbursement funds for CPR and first aid training you can learn more at WOU. At this time we are offering a very discounted rate for additional participants from the same setting.

We will also examine strategies to implement observations and assessments into your program. I will discuss what is play and why it is necessary for typical development. June 17, 2020 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm Word Gardening: Cultivating Words, Nurturing Literacy, and Growing the Brain –Explore new scientific discoveries: how brain wiring is densely interconnected, and how interactions change this wiring. Examine current research: how children’s brains learn words and what words mean. Practice language development strategies: parentese, naming, and content words.
